Raymore is a city in Cass County, Missouri, United States, within the Kansas City Metropolitan Area. Raymore is one of the fastest growing cities in the state of Missouri. The population was 19,206 at the 2010 census.Raymore was named for two railroad men, of the surnames Ray and Moore.According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 17.75 square miles (45.97 km2), of which, 17.58 square miles (45.53 km2) is land and 0.17 square miles (0.44 km2) is water.
