Cherryhill Township is a township in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,842 at the 2000 census.The George Diehl Homestead was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1987.According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 49.5 square miles (128 km2), of which, 48.8 square miles (126 km2) of it is land and 0.7 square miles (1.8 km2) of it (1.43%) is water.
